I don’t stand at the stove for hours: I take 1 vegetable and bake it in foil – an awesome snack for the whole family

If you're tired of thinking about what to snack on or what to cook in a hurry, there is a solution that will save you even on the laziest days. No need to stand at the stove, wash a mountain of dishes or defrost meat. All you need is one vegetable, a couple of spices and an oven.

The ideal choice is zucchini. It's juicy, tender and takes just 25 minutes to cook. And it turns out so delicious that even children ask for more.

What you will need (for 2 servings):

Zucchini – 2 pieces medium size
Garlic – 2 cloves
Hard cheese – 70 g
Olive oil – 1 tbsp. spoon
Salt, black pepper, dried herbs – to taste

How to cook:

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  • Cut the zucchini into slices 1.5–2 cm thick.
  • Finely chop the garlic and grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  • Toss zucchini with garlic, oil, salt, pepper and herbs.
  • Place in a baking dish or wrap in foil in portions.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges of the vegetables are lightly golden.

Bon appetit!
