For reference

The Banner of Victory is the Russian relic of Russia, the official symbol of the victory of the Soviet people and its armed forces over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The banner is the assault flag of the 150th Order of the II degree of the Idritsk Rifle Division.

On May 1, 1945, three Soviet soldiers – Alexei Berest, Mikhail Egorov and Meliton Cantaria – hoisted him over the Reichstag.

The original Victory Banner is stored in the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia. After 1965, the banner was never taken to military parades. During the celebrations dedicated to the Day of Great Victory, a copy of the Banner of Victory is used.
