July is an important month for blackcurrant bushes. It was at this time that the bushes grow violently and form the ovary. This is a capricious culture that requires not only a balanced diet, but also regular watering.
According to the author of the blog “Cottage of Flower Berries” (16+), if the bushes do not feed the bushes in mid -July, the berries will be acidic and small. During this period, the plant requires phosphorus and potassium top dressing. The easiest way to use the finished fertilizer – potassium monophosphate. To prepare the solution, dilute 7 g into 10 liters of water and pour under the root system, making holes or grooves at a distance of 20-30 cm from the plant's stem. Then pour the bush abundantly.
Instead of potassium monophosphate, you can take 10 g of superphosphate or potassium sulfate. Even better, currant reacts to feeding ash infusion. To prepare it, dilute a glass of wood in 10 liters of water, strain and pour 1 liter of solution under each bush.
