Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that the “wReadiness” project is a response to the need to build knowledge, skills and the ability to respond to crisis situations. The program will cover various social groups – from children and teenagers in schools, through employees and entrepreneurs, to seniors. Training will be conducted both individually and in groups.
According to the minister's announcement, the pilot program will be carried out with the support of 132 military units, mainly the Territorial Defense Forces, in cooperation with the Operational Command of the Armed Forces. As part of this year's activities, it is planned to train several thousand people, and the program is expected to be fully ready at the beginning of next year.

Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that Poland's security is based not only on a strong army and alliances, but also on the preparation of citizens. He added that knowledge about alarm signals, places of refuge and rules of behavior in crisis situations is crucial for building defense and social resilience.
The deputy head of the Ministry of National Defense, Cezary Tomczyk, announced that approximately 100,000 people will take part in training in November and December. people. The program provides for two paths: social resilience and reserves. Registration for training can be made via the mObywatel application, where the appropriate function has been activated.

Minister Tomczyk also announced that by 2026 the Ministry of National Defense plans to train approximately 400,000. people. The program provides for various forms of training, including “Education with the Army”, reserve training and voluntary compulsory military service.
The “wReadiness” program has been prepared for the last six months. During this time, instructors were trained and legal changes necessary for its implementation were introduced.
