There is an agreement regarding the plot for the CPK

The meeting at KOWR ended with the signing of an agreement regarding the controversial plot of land in Zabłotnia. The president of KOWR, Henryk Smolarz, announced that the parties had reached an agreement and the owner of the land, Piotr Wielgomas, agreed to return the property on agreed terms.
The negotiations started after eight o'clock at the KOWR headquarters. Representatives of the institution and Piotr Wielgomas agreed on the details regarding the return of a plot of 160 hectares, which was to be used for the construction of railway tracks and an industrial, warehouse and service complex as part of the Central Communication Port project in Zabłotnia.
Before the talks, Piotr Wielgomas emphasized that he was ready to consider various proposals to solve the case.
Alternative solutions regarding the plot
Last week, Minister of Agriculture Stefan Krajewski indicated that one of the possible ways to regain a plot of land located in the areas planned for CPK investments is to exchange land. The minister noted that the current owner had set the condition that the property offered in exchange should have a similar class of land and be intended for agricultural purposes.
Ultimately, the parties decided to return the plot at the original purchase price, which allowed the negotiations to be quickly concluded and the dispute over the area crucial for the implementation of the Central Communication Port investment to be resolved.
