Asked by HotNews if he had ever been contacted by Bogos, Rareș Bogdan denied: “No, never this gentleman. I have never heard this name until today. I have no idea who this Bogos is,” Rareș Bogdan said.

“How good it is not to meet even everyone who calls you and to be away all the time. The Good Lord saved me. I congratulate myself now,” he added.

The MEP admits that he was called by Nicolae Iana: “It appears (n. ed.: in transcripts) that at some point someone else called me and that he asked me for a meeting, without any connection with this gentleman or at least he didn't tell me anything by that name”, explained the PNL MEP.

In what context does the name of Rareș Bogdan appear in the file of the businessman Fănel Bogos

“According to the entry register, on September 23, Mr. Barbu, president of PNL Vaslui, was in an audience with the prime minister, an audience he had requested on political issues. Mr. Barbu came accompanied by Mr. Fanel Bogos”, Ioana Dogioiu said in a reaction to HotNews.
