“After a few days in which the snowdrifts hampered the work schedule at the Dinamo Stadium, they are resuming and the demolition of the former official tribune in Calea Floreasca is to follow,” informs the cited source.
The new arena in Ștefan cel Mare could be ready in 2028 and will cost around 120 million euros.
The demolition was interrupted in the context in which Bucharest was affected by snow. The snow “swallowed” the streets, and the work could not be carried out in decent conditions.
Now he has returned to the construction site and the complete demolition of the lawn from Ștefan cel Mare Road, as well as the official grandstand, is to follow.
The new “Dinamo” Stadium will be classified in the IV category (formerly “Elite”), according to the UEFA classification, and will have a capacity of approximately 25,000 seats. The arena will benefit from modern changing rooms for the home and away teams, referees, ball handlers and support staff.
The complex in Ștefan cel Mare will also include dedicated rooms for boxing (with three rings), weightlifting, judo, wrestling, gymnastics, fitness and fencing, along with changing rooms and related spaces for staff, training camps, spectators, press and TV broadcasts. There will also be storage spaces and other technical areas necessary for building maintenance.
