Orlen opened a hub for fast charging of electric cars

The first charging hub for electric vehicles of the Orlen Charge network was launched on the S7 route, at the Olsztynek Południe MOP – the company announced in a press release. By the end of the year, the company will open several more hubs on motorways and expressways, including: in Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Nowy Dwór Gdański.


As stated, all Orlen Charge hubs will be equipped with six to twelve charging points, with an intelligent power sharing system. First, eight-station hubs will be launched in Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zgorzelec, Nowy Dwór Gdański, and in the following MOPs: Barnisław Północ, Barnisław Południe, Gruczno Zachód, Morzęcino Zachód, Brzegi, Szumowo.
Orlen Charge currently has over 1.2 thousand. charging points for electric cars throughout Poland. In line with the Group's strategy until 2035, the Orlen Charge network intends to achieve a leading position on the publicly available EV charging market in Poland. Charging points will also be built on other European markets where Orlen is present. (PAP Business)
