On Friday punctually at 20 The debate started. This is a key clash between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki before the second round of presidential elections. At the beginning, the candidates took up the subject of health, foreign policy, economy and social policy.
There was security in the fifth thematic block. “The border was leaky. They were unable to stick straight a pole. They led to only bad solutions, letting in migrants” – said Rafał Trzaskowski about the PiS government. Karol Nawrocki talked about bowing to German chancellors, accusing the government of Donald Tusk's lack of effectiveness.
Rafał Trzaskowski accused the opponent of saying what the Russians and Vladimir Putin were. He accused too hard slogans against Ukraine. He pointed out that Karol Nawrocki clearly declares his reluctance to Ukraine in NATO. The PiS candidate preferred to talk about the slaughter in Volhynia.
“I speak the language of Polish women and Poles who have their agenda matters. As Zelnski treats us wrong, we have the right to say it” – emphasized Karol Nawrocki. In response, he accused KO politicians that they offended Donald Trump and at the same time they wanted to do dealers with the Americans.
Rafał Trzaskowski emphasized that he wanted good relations with the Americans. However, he does not intend to bother before the US administration. “In difficult times we have to buy two policies: good relations with the USA and a strong Europe” – noted the candidate KO. “Donald Trump likes strong men,” said Karol Nawrocki. He said that the NATO alliance for security is the most important.
“I have sensational relations with the Republicans. I will say that President Trump is a person who does not like how to kiss him in the breast. He values those who are tough,” commented Rafał Trzaskowski.
The debate talked about investments in security. Karol Nawrocki mentioned the Central Communication Port (CPK). Rafał Trzaskowski accused the PiS government that he only drawn maps and plans in this topic, and nothing was happening. “Today it is a prepared project. It makes sense,” he emphasized.
