The queen of burlesque of all Moscow was beaten on March 8 during her performance because they confused her with a stripper. For refusing to be naked, the dancer was thrown into a window.
It all happened on Women's Day in one of the Moscow bars. Lyalya Bezhetskaya, who calls herself “the No. 1 burlesque actress in Russia,” was preparing for her next appearance on stage when an inappropriate guest attacked her. The lady tried to scratch the artist’s face; her boyfriend came to her aid – he grabbed Lyalya and pushed her straight into a glass cabinet. All because the tipsy guests mistook the diva for a stripper and demanded the appropriate program, but she refused.
A shard of glass stuck into the cabaret performer’s leg, but she continued her performance anyway. Bezhetskaya was able to come to the hospital only at night – when it became clear that it would not go away on its own, and the wound needed to be stitched up.
Later it turned out that another dancer broke her leg due to stress, and the singer had a nervous breakdown – now she is afraid to go on stage. Both witnessed the attack.
