
If you want to surprise your guests with something unusual, but easy to prepare, try making a salad with figs, goat cheese and arugula. It is suitable for both a regular dinner and a festive one. The secret of cooking was shared by the author of the blog “Recipes from Darika” (12+) on the Zen platform (12+).
You will need:
- Figs – 4–5 pieces
- Arugula – 70–80 grams
- Goat cheese – 100 grams
- Walnuts – 40 grams
- Honey – 1 tablespoon
- Salt, pepper – to taste
- Olive oil – to taste
- Balsamic vinegar – to taste
How to cook:
Wash the figs and cut into slices. Fry the nuts a little in a dry frying pan to make them more flavorful. Remove the cheese from the refrigerator to warm up a little and cut into pieces.
Place arugula on a plate. Top with fig and cheese slices. For the dressing, mix oil, honey and balsamic vinegar, add salt and pepper.
Pour dressing over salad. Sprinkle with nuts and add a little honey to the figs if desired.
