A 250-kilogram bomb was discovered in Estonia near the border with the Russian Federation.


It was noted that the ammunition was found in the forest near Auvere, a village in the municipality bordering the Leningrad region of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.

Sappers arrived at the scene and began work to defuse the bomb. Destruction of ammunition is planned on site to minimize risks to the public and the environment.

The Fire and Rescue Service warned local residents of the possibility of loud explosions and unusual sounds during the operation.

That same day in the river Narva, on the border of Estonia with Russia, a Russian border boat was spotted flying the flag of the Russian private military company “Wagner” (recognized in the world as a terrorist organization).
