The first tulip cutting has begun in the greenhouses of the Green Building Authority. Bulbs of 13 varieties were planted back in October, the mayor’s office said.
At first, the boxes were kept in a dark, cool room, and after germination, they were transferred to a greenhouse. Now the flowers are ready for cutting – the buds have already colored, but have not yet bloomed.
This year, Krasnoyarsk residents have access to red, white, purple, pink, yellow and two-color tulips. Among the new products are soft pink Sissy and white Miss Medvedeva.
Before sale, the flowers were checked by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists. They carried out phytosanitary control, took samples and confirmed that the plants were healthy.
The price of tulips depends on the order volume. When purchasing from 5 thousand pieces, one flower will cost 85 rubles. If you take less than 500 pieces – 150 rubles. Prices are identical to last year.
