In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a teenager was sent to a colony for drugs

19 May 17:40

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 17-year-old resident of Zelenogorsk was found guilty illegal acquisition, storage and sale of drugs.

It was established that last summer, a ninth-grader and a friend, after watching a video on the Internet, decided to try a prohibited substance called “chocolate.” Through a chat bot in the messenger, they found the drug, paid for the purchase, took the bookmark near Borodino and brought it home. The next day, the defendant, who was left alone while his mother was leaving, offered three friends a cigarette. Having done this, they went to bed. A family friend who came to visit the boy saw what was happening and called the police. An examination confirmed the presence of traces of a narcotic drug in the schoolchildren’s bodies, and during an inspection of the home, a bag with remains of the substance was found.

“It also turned out that the teenager had previously stored a significant amount of cannabis, and later collected and kept the tops of the cannabis,” the prosecutor’s office said. — The peculiarity of the matter is that to qualify for sales, the law does not require either a commercial batch, or spectacular packaging, or even a noticeable volume of the substance. The very fact of transfer to another person is sufficient. Therefore, an attempt to “just share” in such a situation no longer turns into teenage stupidity, but into criminal selling.”

The minor confessed to everything. According to the totality of crimes provided for in Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Part 1 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court sentenced him to 2 years and 2 months of imprisonment to be served in a correctional colony.

His mother was fined for improper performance of parental duties (Part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), and his 16-year-old friend, with whom he bought chocolate, was placed in a special closed educational institution until adulthood in March 2028.
