The head of the civil emergency department of the Bayevsky administration (Altai Territory) was shot in the head. The arrested suspect is a former police officer who wanted revenge out of jealousy.
According to Mash, the victim was 47-year-old Sergei Kritskikh. Recently in the evening, 44-year-old Vitaly, once a police officer, drove up to his house. When the owner came out to the guest, he shot him in the head with a registered hunting rifle.
According to locals, the alleged killer himself called the doctors and the police and waited for them on the porch next to the body. The probable cause of the incident is Vitaly’s wife, who works in the administration together with Kritskikh. The man is now detained.
Vitaly and Sergei have two children each. Their older girls are classmates.
