In Sayanogorsk, the school director “earned” 800 thousand from her daughter’s fictitious employment

In the Republic of Khakassia, the director of a school from Sayanogorsk was sentenced; the woman was convicted of fraud.

The investigation and the court established that in the period from June 2021 to January 2025, the director of the educational institution organized fictitious employment of her daughter at school for various vacant positions, which in fact did not perform any labor duties.

“During the specified period of time, she was paid wages in the amount of more than 800 thousand rubles, which the school director appropriated for herself and disposed of at her own discretion,” the Sledkom said.

A criminal case was opened against the woman under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed using one’s official position on a large scale). During the investigation, she fully compensated for the damage caused to the educational institution.

The court sentenced the woman to a fine of 500 thousand rubles. The verdict came into force. Operational support of the criminal case was carried out by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Khakassia.
