– I am superfanate DiCaprio from an early age. But, of course, in Kyiv I did not dream of seeing him once, because it was impossible. But I asked everyone who worked with foreign artists: “Please, if there is a savage, tell me to come and at least just look at him at a distance.”
When I moved to the USA, it was very difficult for me. And with the language and with adaptation. There are no friends. Everything is unfamiliar. And at some point I realized that I needed to set some goal. And one of the goals, why I came to America at all, was a desire to work with DiCaprio. But it was unrealistic somehow. But when a full -scale war began, I turned on the top, I began to invite stars – and when I already invited American actor Martin Scorsese, the American singer and actress Vera Farmiga, began to believe more and more. And last year I met DiCaprio. It was AFTEPATIE MET GALA.
At first I did not believe that it was him. I had a shock. All my life I dreamed about this moment, I even came up with what I would tell him, but it was so scary. I raise my eyes, he stands near me and I have this: “Damn, what to do? What to say? Say:“ I loved you all my life ”or say:“ I want to work with you. ”I chose the second option. I just stayed near the guard and looked. I wanted to watch him. No one touched me. I understood that I would never go through this wall of security, it is unrealistic. And I didn’t even try, I just stood, holding a business card in my pocket.
And at some point he just went to meet me, and his guard was ahead and behind him. The maximum that I could do is just take his hand. He looked at me, I put my business card for him. He clamped her in his hand. I could not say anything, they didn’t give me. It was generally unrealistic.
