In the search area for the Usoltsev family in Kuturchinsky Belogorye, objects and bone remains discovered during the search team’s June departure were checked. TASS reports this.
From June 4 to June 9, LisaAlert volunteers again worked at the scene of the family's disappearance. The Usoltsevs could not be found, but searchers found several items that will now be checked for possible belonging to the missing. Part of the territory was surveyed using drones. The photos from the quadcopter were processed by a neural network. She flagged several points as potentially significant.
After checking by groups on foot, it turned out that the bone remains found in the photographs were of animal origin. Also during the search they found part of a Nordic walking stick. Sergei Usoltsev's stepson Daniil Batalov told TASS that his stepfather did not use such sticks.
“I can say with confidence that my father never used walking poles and despised them,” he said.
According to him, Sergei Usoltsev considered such poles to be extra weight on a hike and preferred to keep his hands free.
The Usoltsev family disappeared in September 2025. In the fall, the search became one of the largest in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with up to 1.5 thousand people participating. They gave no results.
