The Minister of Tourism, Radu Miruță (USR), believes that Romanians who earn money from renting out rooms in their homes, in the short term, must pay taxes, but not be obliged to authorize themselves from a tourist point of view, but the operators managing hundreds of hotel apartments must be subject to the same rules as hotels, using data from Airbnb, Booking and other rental platforms.
