Klopotenko noted that the dough takes three minutes to prepare.
Ingredients:
- two C1 eggs;
- 100 g sugar (optional);
- 10 g vanilla sugar;
- 200 ml milk;
- 250 g wheat flour;
- 1 tsp. baking powder;
- a pinch of salt;
- zest of one lemon;
- four to five apples (weight like dough);
- 20 g butter;
- 10 g vanilla sugar;
- 1 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- juice of half a lemon (optional).
Preparation
- Wash the apples, dry them, cut them in half and cut out the core. Cut the apples into large slices.
- Heat a frying pan with 20 g of oil, place apples on it, 1 tbsp. l. sugar, 10 g vanilla sugar and the juice of half a lemon. You can even throw lemon slices into the pan so that they impart their flavor to the filling.
- Caramelize the apples, stirring for five to seven minutes or until softened. Then remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
- For the dough: in a bowl, mix two eggs, 100 g of sugar, 10 g of vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, 200 ml of milk, and 250 g of flour from 1 tsp. baking powder. Mix the dough with a whisk until smooth, the mass should resemble sour cream.
- Grease a baking dish with oil and pour the dough into it. Top with caramelized and cooled apple slices. Bake the charlotte in an oven preheated to +180 °C for 45–50 minutes (top-bottom heating mode, no convection).
