Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to immediately provide 100% financing for gas imports. How much money do you already have?

Zelensky noted that each member of the government must have “clear results” on issues of “defense, protection and restoration of energy, support for Ukrainians, agreements with partners, pressure on the aggressor country of the Russian Federation and protection from its influence.”

“I have instructed to provide immediate 100% financing for gas imports – we already have 70%, and we understand how to accumulate the required amount. The ministers of foreign affairs and energy must ensure the full implementation of our agreements with Germany, Norway, Italy, the Netherlands and the European Commission on the financing and supply of the necessary equipment for generating electricity,” the president wrote.

He noted that he instructed Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga to work faster towards synchronizing the sanctions of partners and Ukraine against the Russian Federation, so that “in all the most important jurisdictions of the world, pressure for the war, which is equally painful for Russia, would apply.”

“The 19th package of EU sanctions must be synchronized in all key European countries outside the EU,” Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko must work out “specific public needs” in Ukraine, to which funds from frozen Russian assets should be directed.
