Israel has announced that it will carry out “intense attacks” on Hamas in response to what it claims have been repeated violations of the cease-fire plan in the Gaza Strip brokered by US President Donald Trump, reports the BBC.
Israel has accused Hamas of firing on its forces occupying areas of the Gaza Strip, as well as deliberately committing a “misleading plot”.
Last night, the Palestinian militant organization handed over what it claimed were the remains of one of the Israeli hostages. However, Israel claims that forensic tests have shown that they belong to a lifeless body recovered from Gaza two years ago.
