SuperLiga: FCSB wins the match with UTA Arad, score 4-0, and gets closer to the play-off places

FCSB prevailed against the UTA Arad team, score 4-0, in a match played on Sunday, at the National Arena in Bucharest, in the 14th stage of the SuperLiga.

FCSB – UTA Arad 4-0

The defending champion of Romania opened the scoring in the 13th minute, when Bîrligea scored with a powerful shot from outside the box.

Florin Tănase scored in the visitors' goal in the 18th minute, when he followed a ball rejected by Iliev after a shot by Șut, but the success was canceled for offside.

FCSB's goalkeeper finally got his name on the scorers' list in the 38th minute. Roman committed a handball in his own box, and Tanase beat Iliev from the penalty spot.

UTA remained outnumbered before the break, after the goalkeeper Iliev he touched the ball with his hand outside the box and was sent off.

Potter ('80) made it 3-0 from a penalty awarded after Poulolo elbowed the ball in the box and the final score was settled by Thiam ('90+3), eight minutes after entering the field in place of Bîrligea.

Thanks to this success, FCSB accumulated 16 points and climbed to 10th place in the ranking, three points behind Oțelul Galați, the team in 6th place, the last of the play-offs. UTA also has 16 points, in 11th place.
