
“In Bulgaria I had to deal with hostile people,” she admitted. “For example, one woman said that [нелегитимный российский президент Владимир] Putin is her ideal man, knowing that I am from Ukraine.”

According to the singer, it was painful for her to hear this. She emphasized that, as a rule, people who live in Bulgaria and sympathize with Putin are Russians themselves.
“There is a post-communist syndrome in Bulgaria and there are many Russians, so the attitude towards Ukrainians is not always positive,” the artist added. “However, I meet many modern, civilized people who understand the situation and support us.”
