The President of Romania explained on Monday night at Antena 3 CNN, why he gave his 7-8 note as a head of state, on a TV show. He said that, for many years, in Romania politics “went to the surface of things”, to the detriment of “things that matter”.
“At the Olympics, when I was going, about the first 45 minutes I didn't write anything on the competition sheet. I was thinking simultaneously about all the problems, I could see which is harder and I was doing a strategy on how to approach. The most intense was at the end, when I was writing what I had already thought. Important is the end,” Nicuşor Dan said, on Monday night.
He said that, for many years, in Romania politics “went to the surface of things”, to the detriment of “things that matter”: (…) We forgot to focus on the things that matter and who need a certain reflection, collaboration between many people, institutions to have points of view. This should be the course for us to reach results differently than we have been so far. ”
On September 4, Nicuşor Dan said, in an interview for Antena 1, asked what note he would give after the first 100 days of mandate, that he is a demanding person and would give 7-8.
