“A serious state must take the most important offices seriously. The first lady blames her previous activities – regardless of what she has undertaken: whether she was, like President Kornhauser-Duda, a teacher, or like President Nawrocka – she worked in the services,” Zbigniew Bogucki said on Radio ZET.
The head of the Chancellery of the President added that establishing a salary for the first lady is “no big deal.” “The Polish state can afford to regulate this issue. This is a natural consequence of electing my spouse as president,” Bogucki emphasized.

Zbigniew Bogucki replied that it was not a matter of the president's initiative, but of “the normal ordering of affairs in Poland.” “We are talking about one person in a country of 38 million citizens who cuts himself off from his earning and professional opportunities,” commented Bogucki.
