In Krasnoyarsk, new spaces for family recreation have been created in the Ovinny and Slavyansky microdistricts.

The mayor's office said that the Birch Grove in the Ovinny microdistrict was divided into three zones: children's playgrounds were installed in the first, a swing complex in the second, and sports locations in the third. Workers also laid rubber flooring and installed lighting.

“Children come here from all over Ovinnoye after school, mothers come with strollers, you can play and play sports here even in the evening – there are lanterns. This is the first time we have created such a beautiful park in our village,” local resident Galina Usmanova shared her impressions.

At the intersection of Drokinska and Nezavisimosti streets in the Slavyansky microdistrict, the second stage of improvement has been completed. Last year, a basketball and volleyball court with a special coating, a drainage system and a storm drain was installed on the territory.

This year, a play complex and exercise equipment were installed there, and an amphitheater was built for quiet relaxation. A sun canopy, a student writing and drawing board, swings and benches were installed on the playground. Specialists carried out lighting and additional landscaping.

“In place of the park there was an abandoned area, but today a modern urban space has been created where residents with families can have fun and exercise on exercise equipment,” noted Boris Pereverzev, head of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk.

The transformation of the territories was carried out as part of the support of initiative projects of citizens.

Let us remind you that the competition of initiative projects was organized for caring Krasnoyarsk residents who would like to improve this or that section of the territory. A project for the development of municipal territory inside residential areas or so-called undemarcated lands can be proposed by a group of local residents, as well as legal entities or entrepreneurs. If it is supported, it will be implemented at the expense of the city budget.
