In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 10 billion rubles will be allocated for three years to solve environmental problems. The Committee on Natural Resources and Ecology of the Legislative Assembly held a hearing on the draft law on the regional budget.
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – Minister of Finance Vladimir Bakhar said that the budget of the Krasnoyarsk Territory “Environmental Protection” program for three years is about 10 billion rubles. In 2026, 3.9 billion will be allocated to improve the environmental situation.
The Clean Air project will continue in Achinsk, Lesosibirsk and Minusinsk by transferring private households with stove or coal heating to more environmentally friendly types. Also, 4 new automated observation posts for air pollution will be created.
Also, next year it is proposed to allocate more than a billion rubles for the reconstruction of the Avtospetsbaza JSC landfill near Krasnoyarsk. A waste sorting line will also appear here. Municipalities will receive 330 million rubles for the arrangement of 1,100 container sites, 2,500 containers will be purchased for them, and they will be allocated funds to eliminate unauthorized landfills, one of them in Minusinsk.
Another program, “Development of forestry, reproduction and use of natural resources,” will allocate 6.7 billion rubles. Part of the funds will go to the regional project “Forest Conservation”: the area of restored forests will increase, tree nurseries will be created and modernized. As a result, reforestation will be carried out on an area of 95.4 thousand hectares. The purchase of specialized forest fire equipment will continue.
Funds will be used to repair hydraulic structures and clean rivers. Thus, a major overhaul of the hydraulic structure on the Tuba River in Kuragino, near the village of Nizhny Suetuk, will take place, and work will be carried out to clear the bed of the Kan River in Kansk.
The discussion of the draft budget was attended by the chairman of the committee Vitaly Drozdov, the deputy chairman of the committee Yuri Zakharinsky, deputies of parliament Ekaterina Udelko, Alexey Kulesh, Pavel Semizorov, adviser to the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Nikolai Kreminsky. The questions concerned the use of payments received by the regional budget from enterprises for damage caused to nature, new technologies in the fight against forest fires, and the construction of eco-technological parks.
The chairman of the committee proposed that the government consider the possibility and take into account in the draft budget for the second reading funds for the development of the new natural park “Koiskoe Belogorye”, for modern equipment at the Divnogorsk College of Forest Technologies for training UAV operators that are used in monitoring forest fires. Also, in his opinion, it is necessary to once again analyze the need to spend budget funds on the construction of expensive eco-technological parks in the region – it would be more rational to reconstruct the existing network of solid waste landfills.
