The company from Lesosibirsk illegally sold lumber for 5.5 million rubles abroad

In Lesosibirsk, the company trading in wood raw materials illegally took out abroad of lumber in the amount of more than 5 million rubles. The criminal scheme was revealed by employees of the regional police and the Krasnoyarsk customs, the press service of the bodies report.
From October 2018 to May 2020, the 52-year-old director of the company entered into contracts for the supply of wood with foreign partners. To declare goods, she provided customs for false data on the origin of pilot products. The declarations also indicated inaccurate information about the legality of the sold lumber.
Thus, 1 thousand cubic meters of logging with a total cost of about 5.5 million rubles were exported beyond Russia.
Inquiry officers of the Siberian electronic customs opened two criminal cases under Part 1 of Art. 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Smuggling of strategically important resources by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.” A woman faces 5 to 10 years in prison.
Criminal cases for further investigation will be transferred to the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
