Film graduate at UNATC, he founded in 2019, together with Antonia Ivanciu, the festival Izanagi– Japanese Film Festival, dedicated to Japanese animation. From a single pilot screening, the project expanded to nine cities and became a landmark for anime and Japanese cinema fans. Around the festival, the two entrepreneurs are gradually building a small cultural ecosystem: from tours in Japan to the upcoming IZANAGI online store Shop, which promises to take the experience further and beyond the cinema halls.

Behind the festival is a small but well-organized team: the two phonators and several full-time collaborators take care of planning, film selection and logistics, and for each edition they also receive help from volunteers. Preparing a festival takes almost a year, from choosing the theme and contacting distributors, to translating the films and setting up the spaces.
