In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a woman died in a fire that occurred due to a faulty heating boiler, the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Fire of a private house for two owners in village of Novoangarsk, Motyginsky district happened at about half past ten in the morning on October 20.
By the time firefighters arrived, five residents of one of the apartments had evacuated. The second apartment was completely engulfed in fire. Witnesses told arriving firefighters that a person remained in the house. Employees of the gas and smoke protection service found a dead woman in one of the rooms.
“Staff of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the municipal fire department, using 5 units of equipment and 13 people, extinguished the fire on an area of 130 square meters. meters at 16:40. As the investigator established, the fire occurred due to a short circuit in the electric heating boiler,” the regional department said.
