As the regional registry office reported, the project provides a full range of services for newlyweds. Couples will not only be able to register their marriage, but also take part in ancient rituals, wear specially tailored costumes from a bygone era, and travel through the historical part of the city in a carriage or sleigh, depending on the season. The newlyweds will live at the Mikhailovskaya Hotel.

Director of the Minusinsk Museum of Local Lore Svetlana Borisova noted that specialists from various fields are involved in the development of the project – the museum, the tourism industry, the college of culture and art, as well as stylists and entrepreneurs.

The project is currently under active discussion. A trial ceremony is planned to be held soon to evaluate all the details and make the necessary adjustments. After this, the organizers will apply for a grant to finance the project.

Preliminarily, “Siberian Wedding” will be launched in 2026.
