The Romanian national football team will play in November a crucial match in order to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, against Bosnia, away. The Romanian Football Federation announced at the beginning of this week that on Tuesday, October 21, tickets for the game in Zenica, scheduled for November 15, from 21:45, will be on sale.
The Tricolors still have a mathematical chance of first place in the preliminary group, but the chances are purely theoretical. However, Romania is certain of the play-off, but it is very important where the preliminary group will finish and in which urn it will be for the draw of the play-off matches, which are played in a double leg, semi-final – final.
Considering the importance of the match in Bosnia, the Romanian fans want to go with Mircea Lucescu's team on the road, the demand being very high. However, tricolor supporters will only have 550 tickets available.
The price of a ticket in the lawn intended for Romanian fans is 25 euros, approximately 132 lei.

CALCULATIONS. How Romania DIRECTLY qualifies for WC 2026
Romania still has Bosnia to play on November 15. Three days later he will face San Marino. Austria, the team in first place, still has to play Cyprus and Bosnia.
At the moment, the Austrians have 15 points, Bosnia has 13 points, Romania has 10. All three still have two matches to play.
Romania still has a theoretical chance at 1st place. However, any point made by Austria takes us out of the calculation. In the event of a tie, goal difference is the first tie-breaker criterion, and the Austrians are much better, they have +16, while we have +5.
Thus, Romania should surpass Austria in points to get the first place. How does this happen?
-
Romania wins with Bosnia and San Marino
-
Bosnia wins with Austria
-
Austria also loses with Cyprus, not only with Bosnia
Under these conditions, Romania would have 16 points, just like Bosnia, and Austria would remain with 15. This is where goal difference would come into play. At the moment, the Bosnians have +8, we have +5. In this case, other conditions come into play.
-
Romania to win by more than two goals difference with Bosnia AND
-
Romania to win with San Marino by more goal difference than Bosnia would win with Austria
OR
-
Romania to win against Bosnia by one goal AND
-
Romania to win against San Marino with a difference of two goals greater than that of Austria – Bosnia
