On Monday, Gen. Mirosław Różański spoke firmly on RMF24 about the planned meeting of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Budapest. In his opinion, this situation shows a kind of “provocation” by the United States aimed at Western Europe. At the same time, he noted that the planned visit suggests “Putin's privileges” and the fact that he is “increasingly entering the salons.”

— It's hard for me to imagine that Putin, who has already been defined as one who commits genocide, will find himself in the EU — admitted General Mirosław Różański. The head of the Senate defense committee pointed out that EU countries should abide by the judgments of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the matter earlierstating that he is ready to go to the meeting, although he does not believe that Hungary is the right place to talk about peace in Ukraine.

During the conversation on RMF24, a question was also asked about whether American Tomahawk missiles could change the fate of the war beyond our eastern border. — Today, Ukraine has the opportunity to launch attacks deep into the hinterland, but that's it it would definitely enhance offensive capabilities” – noted the general. He explained that equipping Ukraine with additional systems would enhance its defense capabilities and could change the situation on the front.
Gen. Mirosław Różański emphasized, however, that the issue of transferring missiles to Ukraine is largely about geopolitical issues. He pointed out that the US and Russian administrations have been talking to each other for a long time. — The direction of the American administration to shape relations with Russia is very wrong, he added.
