Russia carries out hundreds of attacks on Ukraine's critical and civilian infrastructure almost every day, and this week it has used over 3,270 strike drones, 1,370 guided aerial bombs and almost 50 various types of missiles against us, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday.

“Ukraine has never sought war. We agreed to an unconditional ceasefire, looked for opportunities for peace and have repeatedly proposed to the world how to stop attacks in the air, on land and at sea. However, it is Russia that constantly hinders this process – it manipulates, drags out negotiations, terrorizes our citizens with air attacks, intensifies attacks on the front. The war continues only because that Moscow does not want to end it,” Zelensky wrote on Sunday in the Telegram messenger.
According to the president, Ukraine is constantly strengthening its security and working with partners to strengthen air defense.
According to Zelensky, Russian leader Vladimir Putin cannot be stopped with talks, which is why pressure is needed. “The world sees that Russia responds to force, so peace through force can work. Ukraine will not give terrorists any reward for their crimes, and we count on the support of our partners for this position. Decisive actions are needed from the United States, Europe, the G20 and G7 countries,” the president emphasized.
On Friday, Zelensky said after a meeting with US leader Donald Trump in Washington that the topic of Tomahawk cruise missiles was topical. He also said that the Russians are afraid of this American weapon. They also discussed the planned meeting of US and Russian leaders in Budapest and the Thursday telephone conversation between Trump and Putin.
