Fraudsters have created a new deception scheme via Telegram

A new fraud scheme has emerged in Russia, targeting potential investors. Attackers use the Telegram messenger to distribute fictitious investment offers under the guise of trading cryptocurrency and securities.

According to Yamal 1, criminals send users links to specially created bots. These pseudo-platforms show victims the rapid growth of their virtual account, creating the illusion of excess income. When a person begins to believe in the success of investments and invests more money, all the money goes to scammers.
Cybersecurity experts warn to be careful. They recommend not clicking on suspicious links from strangers and not trusting promises of guaranteed high profits on the Internet.
Any investment proposals received through instant messengers require especially careful verification.
