Construction of a new ramp is being completed on Mozhaiskoye

In Krasnoyarsk, on Mozhaisky Street, the creation of a new ramp for pedestrians is being completed.

The city Department of Roads, Infrastructure and Improvement recalled that in the area of ​​house No. 23 on Mozhaiskogo there used to be an old staircase without a ramp and the ability for people with strollers to access it. But it is this path that leads to social facilities, including a nursing home and a school.

“Those with limited mobility had to make a long detour around the houses. Tired of constant inconvenience, they turned to us for help, after which the staircase was included in this year’s renovation plan», — told in UDIB.

The problem was that the old concrete staircase was “jammed» between the school and three residential buildings. The contractor had to do a huge job to place a modern, safe metal structure with a ramp there. Disabled people can climb up and down it without assistance.

Work was also carried out on drainage, strengthening the slope with crushed stone and asphalting the path from the stairs to the street. Kurchatova.

The final touches are now being completed at the facility: all that remains is to weld the fences and handrails and paint them. All work will be completed by the end of the month, but you can already use the new stairs and ramp.
