
Simple triangles of pita bread with cheese and herbs will be an excellent option for a tasty and quick breakfast. These envelopes can not only be eaten at home, but they are also convenient to take with you: to work or school. Ingredients:
- Thin lavash – 2 pieces
- Hard cheese – 150 g
- Fresh parsley – 20 g
- Vegetable oil – 30 ml
- Salt – to taste
What to do:
Grate the cheese on a medium grater and pour into a bowl. Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop. Add to cheese and mix well. If the cheese is not salty, add a little salt to the filling.
Cut the pita bread into long strips approximately 6 by 27 cm. Place a spoonful of cheese filling on the edge of each strip.
Fold the strip into a triangle so that the filling is inside, and wrap along the entire length. Carefully tuck the remaining edge inside.
Heat a frying pan, grease it with vegetable oil. Place the triangles and fry them on both sides for 2 minutes until a beautiful golden brown crust appears.
Serve hot. Any sauces of your choice are perfect for these envelopes. But it will be great without them. Bon appetit.
