After disconnecting the mobile Internet, the city hall decided to make a free wi-fi points in Krasnoyarsk

The City Hall of Krasnoyarsk commented on a three -day shutdown of mobile Internet in the city.

They confirmed that the possibility of non-cash calculation is still absent on some bus routes. At the same time, Wi-Fi works in electric transport – there you can pay for a bankruptcy trips.

In addition, the administration spoke about plans to make points of free Wi-Fi in popular public spaces.

“Krasgorepark, the Tatyshev-park, UZS and surprise directorate, together with the Informatization and Communication Department, are working on the issue of their creation in the public spaces served by institutions. Of course, this is the first step, ”commented in the press service.

At the same time, as noted in the city hall, the operators of paid parking lots, which are surprising, began to organize access to free Internet yesterday – including when entering popular public spaces.

We add, earlier, about 10 years ago, some telecom operators supported a public Wi-Fi network in Krasnoyarsk. She worked in cafes and restaurants, educational and medical institutions, shopping centers. At the same time, Krasnoyarsk ranked third in the ranking of Russian cities with the best infrastructure for free Wi-Fi.
