Car treasure in an abandoned hotel: two vloggers discovered Hummer limousines and Rolls Royces in perfect condition

Two YouTubers specializing in exploring abandoned places made a spectacular discovery in Macau, China. In a former luxury hotel, abandoned for years, they found several exclusive cars, including three Rolls-Royce Phantoms, a Hummer limousine and a Mercedes S-Class, all abandoned.

Vloggers initially spotted a Hummer limo in the parking lot outside. It was open and dusty, suggesting that it had been there for a long time, writes PiațaAuto.md. The real surprise awaited them at the hotel's main entrance, where, in a covered area, out of sight of passers-by, were three abandoned Rolls-Royce Phantoms.
The first one showed clear signs of vandalism, with broken windows, but the interior was kept in good condition. The second one had the hood up and the “Spirit of Ecstasy” badging missing, but the V12 engine seemed untouched. Next to it was a Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220. The third Rolls-Royce Phantom had a purple to burgundy interior, which was also well preserved. Although vandalized, all three models could be salvaged by a car enthusiast most likely.
In the outdoor parking lot, explorers also found vans and other vehicles, probably once used to transport guests.
In the basement, they discovered a limousine and an Audi, a sign that the entire property had been a center of luxury.
According to the PiațaAuto.md publication, the three Rolls-Royce Phantoms would have cost over 500,000-600,000 euros each at the time of purchase.
The hotel was part of the Suncity Group network, a Macau-based company specializing in luxury services and gambling. The group, led by Alvin Chau Cheok Wa, dominated the VIP segment of the casino industry, controlling almost half of the market.
It all came crashing down in 2021, when Chau was arrested by Chinese authorities on charges of money laundering, operating a criminal syndicate and illegal gambling activities.
In 2023, Alvin Chau was sentenced to 18 years in prison, and the luxury complex was left in disrepair.
