They will build the “Arc de Trump”. The US president revealed the details. “It will be beautiful”

Trump unveiled a model of the structure resembling Paris's Arc de Triomphe during a charity dinner in the Oval Office on Wednesday evening. When one of the journalists asked him who the monument would be dedicated to, the president pointed to himself and replied: “Me.” As a result, the media began to refer to the project as the “Trump Arch”.

– It'll be really beautiful. I think it will be fantastic, CNN quotes Trump as saying.

According to American media, the event was also attended by representatives of the largest technology companies, including Amazon, Apple and Meta. Trump allegedly showed them several models of a white arch with a golden angel on top, admitting that he liked the largest one best.

Another architectural idea of Donald Trump

The published photos of the models show that the monument would be placed on the Potomac River, opposite the Lincoln Memorial, in the central point of the Memorial Circle roundabout, facing the White House.

The concept of building a triumphal arch on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence had already appeared – architect Nicolas Leo Charbonneau from the Harrison Design studio released a visualization of the project in September. “America needs a triumphal arch,” Charbonneau wrote on Twitter.

This is not the first architectural change project endorsed by Trump. During his presidency, gold details were added to the Oval Office, new stone pews appeared in the Rose Garden, and a $200 million ballroom with a capacity of 900 was being built in the East Wing of the White House.
