In Krasnoyarsk, at the Yenisei Privoz fair, Rosselkhoznadzor employees discovered 272 kg of meat without accompanying documents. The Central District Court suspended the work of the pavilion for 20 days.
Rosselkhoznadzor said that beef and lamb were sold in the pavilion, but the meat was not registered in the Mercury program, and there were no accompanying documents about its origin and veterinary and sanitary examination.
“Thus, it is impossible to characterize the veterinary and sanitary condition of regulated products and establish the epizootic well-being of the territory of their origin,” the department explained.
The collected materials were submitted to the court, which decided to suspend the operation of the outlet. If the circumstances that served as the basis for the suspension of activities are eliminated, the court may decide to lift the ban early.
