Making limits June 2025. Important news for pensioners

Making up to a pension in Poland is allowed without limits. However, it only applies to those who have reached the statutory age, i.e. 60 years for women and 65 for men.
Others, i.e. earlier pensioners, For example, those receiving compensation benefits or so -called bridgesthey must be on guard. And it can walk up to several hundred thousand Poles.
For this group of pensioners It is important that their additional earnings do not exceed 70 percent. average monthly salary from the previous quarter – This is a threshold, after which the payment of benefits may be reduced.

In turn, exceeding the ceiling of 130 percent average salary results in suspension of the pension of the pension by ZUS. It is therefore worth paying attention to those limits that will apply from June to the end of August 2025.
On Friday, the Central Statistical Office provided data on the average salary in the first quarter of 2025. It amounted to 8,000. PLN 962 28 gr. It is almost PLN 500 more than in the last three months of the previous year.
What does this mean? More or less, but the key thresholds for young pensioners will be:
- 6,000 PLN 273 60 gr – above this limit, ZUS will reduce the pension
- 11 thousand PLN 651 – above this limit ZUS will suspend the payment of the benefit.
These limits are much higher than today, which will certainly please young pensioners. They will be able to earn more with “impunity”.
How much will ZUS reduce the benefit to a person who receives an early retirement? Here, the so -called The amount of maximum reduction. It varies depending on the type of benefit taken and amounts to:
- PLN 939.61 – for pensions and disability pensions due to total incapacity for work,
- PLN 704.75 – for partial incapacity for work,
- PLN 798.72 – for survivors' pensions for one person.
ZUS also reminds that it does not reduce or suspend the pension of the war invalid and survivors 'pensions after this invalid and the pension of a military invalid, whose inability to work arose in connection with the military service, and survivors' pensions after this invalid, if his death occurred in connection with the military service.
