Over the past 24 hours, Russian attacks have hit Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Chernihiv and Sumy, causing widespread damage to homes and infrastructure. On Wednesday morning, Ukrainian authorities announced that three people were killed and 23 civilians, including a one-and-a-half-month-old baby, were injured.
In the Kherson region, Russian drones killed three people and injured 14, including a child, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration.
The destruction included eight apartment blocks, 29 private houses, administrative buildings, a health care facility, garages and several civilian cars.
A one-and-a-half-month-old baby was injured in the Dnieper region of Kherson, Prokudin reported.
In the Korabel district, a Russian drone dropped explosives near a trolleybus on line 9, shattering its windshield, the regional administration said. Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured.
Kharkiv: forced evacuation of families with children
In the Kharkiv Oblast, Russian forces attacked five towns, injuring a 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, the oblast's governor, Oleh Synehubov, said on Wednesday morning.

“At the meeting of the Regional Defense Council, a decision was made about… forced evacuation of families with children from 27 towns. In total, we will have to resettle 601 children – that's 409 families. We call on families with minor children to save their lives and leave dangerous areas!” he wrote.

Zaporozhye: 649 attacks in one day
Russian forces carried out military operations in the Zaporizhia Oblast on Tuesday, October 14 649 attacks on 16 towns, injuring a 63-year-old man, said Governor Ivan Fedorov.

Czaus reported that for the last 24 hours Russian forces struck the Chernihiv Oblast 37 times, attacking 18 towns mainly using FPV drones and explosives dropped from drones. Work is underway to restore power supplies, but power outages remain across the region.
