In the Emelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the trial of the head of a department of the municipal institution of the Solontsovsky village council for accepting a bribe has ended, the prosecutor's office reported.
From April to December 2016, the former head of the department of land and property relations of the Center for Supporting the Activities of Local Self-Government Bodies of the Solontsovsky Village Council of the Emelyanovsky District received bribes totaling 1.4 million rubles from a resident of Krasnoyarsk. In return, he and his son received four plots of land with a total area of 67 hectares.
It is important to note that the sites are located in the zone of hazard class III production facilities, where personal farming is not allowed. In the documents, the woman indicated the permitted type of use, namely “agricultural purpose.” The Krasnoyarsk resident bought the land at a reduced price.
The court sentenced the former head of the department of the municipal institution of the Solontsovsky village council to 4 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony with a fine of 2.1 million rubles and deprivation of the right to occupy leadership positions in the civil service and in local government for 4 years under Part 3 of Art. 290 and paragraph “c”, part 5, art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for taking a bribe. The court also decided to confiscate 1.4 million rubles from the woman, that is, an amount equivalent to a bribe.
Previously, her property worth more than 6 million rubles was seized to ensure the possible execution of the sentence. He is preserved until the sentence is executed. The criminal case against the briber was dropped due to his active cooperation in the investigation.
