Drug laboratory near Hamburg. Two Poles detained

German secret services entered a house in Quickborn in Schleswig-Holstein on Sunday. The officers saw a gigantic drug laboratory.
The officers found 500 canisters full of chemicals, transport containers and traces of the production of synthetic drugs. The substances seized included primarily legal highs: 3-chloromethcathinone and 4-chloromethcathinone. The latter is known on the black market as clephedrone.
The officers detained two Poles: 44-year-old Łukasz N. and 32-year-old Maciej W. “Were they inspired by the cult series 'Breaking Bad'?” – asks in the “Bild” article. The prosecutor's office requested the arrest of the men.

Specialists from the German State Criminal Office (LKA) spent several hours wearing protective clothing, taking the canisters out of the building, securing evidence and samples. About 20 policemen were on duty throughout the day, documenting the discovery and clearing the area.
The officers also found chemical substances on the neighboring property. As part of the investigation, a total of 14 properties were searched in Norderstedt, Quickborn, Kummerfeld, Hamburg and Emden in Lower Saxony.
The canisters from Quickborn were eventually taken away in several trucks. The area remains fenced and evidence analysis is ongoing.
