“At least not the “governor.” Trump called the Canadian Prime Minister “president” at the Gaza summit

When the US President addressed the leaders who arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh, he introduced the Canadian Prime Minister as “president”.

After the speech, Carney shook hands with Trump, after which a dialogue took place between them.

“I’m glad you promoted me to president,” said the Canadian Prime Minister.

To which Trump responded: “Oh, did I say so? At least I didn’t say “governor.”
