The ex-head of Bolsheuluisky district, suspected of bribery, was detained for 2 months (video)

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court detained for 2 months the former head of the Bolsheuluisky district, the deputy chairman of the Achinsk District Council of Deputies, suspected of taking a bribe, and his accomplices. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

“In court, the prosecutor insisted on taking the ex-head into custody, since during his 20 years in office he had acquired extensive connections among former subordinates and officials of municipal institutions and was familiar with the witnesses in the case. This creates risks of pressure on them and obstruction of the investigation. The suspect did not admit guilt, at the court hearing he insisted on his non-involvement in the crimes and noted that his state of health did not allow him to be in custody,” clarified by the supervisory authority.

The suspect will be in custody 2 months – until March 20, 2026ode. The court also remanded in custody for the same period the accomplices of the crime, the bribe giver and the intermediary in the transfer of the bribe.

Let us remind you thatAccording to the investigation's version, in April 2022, a municipal contract worth more than 32.7 million rubles was concluded between the administration of the Bolsheuluisky district and an individual entrepreneur for the implementation of landscaping public area in village Big Ului. The work was monitored by the Capital Construction Department.

The work under the contract was not completed on time. About this became known to the head of the administration. In order to extract material benefits, in October 2022, he invited the contractor to repair the roof of his house, in return promising to sign reporting documents without actually accepting the work performed, to which the entrepreneur agreed. The contractor purchased construction materials, which he transferred as a bribe to the head of the district through the head of the capital construction department, and also carried out repairs to the roof of the house, with a total cost of more than 500 thousand rubles. Based on the reporting documents signed by the head, payment was made to the contractor in full.

According to this fact criminal cases have been initiated clause “c” part 5 art. 290 (taking a bribe), paragraph “b”, part 4 of Art. 291 (giving a bribe), paragraph “b”, part 3 of Art. 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (mediation in bribery).
