On Monday, EU countries accepted a new trade agreement with Ukraine. The agreement includes Ukraine's obligation to gradually adapt agricultural production standards to EU standards and to reduce or eliminate customs duties on various goods, such as dairy products, fresh fruit and vegetables, and meat.

The decision was taken during a ministerial meeting in Luxembourg.
“Today's decision confirms the EU's continued and multi-faceted support for Ukraine after three years of unprovoked and unjustified military aggression by Russia. We are helping Ukraine militarily and financially, but we must also support it by promoting trade liberalization. Both the EU and Ukraine will benefit from the abolition of tariffs, which will lead to lasting economic stability, lasting trade relations and further integration of Ukraine with the EU,” stressed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, in a statement.
