We will not use Tomahawk missiles to attack civilians in Russia, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the American Fox News television broadcast on Sunday. Zelensky spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump on Saturday and Sunday.

Zelensky assured that the missiles that Ukraine may obtain – provided the US consents – will only be used to attack military targets in Russia. – This is the difference between us and Russia – he emphasized.
He also emphasized that there is a need to increase economic pressure on Russia through sanctions. Trump conditioned the tightening of the sanctions regime against Russia on EU countries leaving the purchase of Russian oil.
Citing sources, the Axios website reported on Saturday that Zelensky and Trump talked that day about the possibility of transferring Tomahawk long-range cruise missiles to the Ukrainian side.
On Friday, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine, hitting its energy infrastructure. The AFP agency pointed out that Moscow tries every year to destroy Ukraine's energy infrastructure in winter. On Friday, 2 million customers were left without water due to bombing in Kiev. (PAP)
